MY FIRST STS
by Linder on 02/02/2008.
Trim: 2005 Cadillac STS V6, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
I had been looking for a couple of years, I wanted something sporty but also classy with all the options. I found it in the 2005 STS. I have owned it for about 2 weeks and LOVE it. All I have to do is figure out the navigation system and HOW TO SET all the controls. It was per-owned certified which was important. It has all the options that are available, even the Vogue tires, cloth top and power sunroof. It has lots and lots of extras.
Cons:
So far nothing!!!
Overall review:
If you want sporty, clasy & luxury this is it.

Not quite my dream car.

Pros:
Handles very well, zippy and brakes well.
Cons:
could use a little more head room. Overall ride is a little rough. My husband thinks our truck gives a better ride.
Overall review:
Good performance car. Comfort wise - a little more room and the ride could be smoother.

Great drive but beware.
by Woody in Seattle on 12/23/2006.
Trim: 2005 Cadillac STS V6, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Great fun to drive and one of the best looking cars on the road. Very driver friendly. Very comfortable.
Cons:
A low-beam headlight burned out and what I remember from other cars I've owned...a simple fix. NOT with the STS. Consider having to remove the bumper, a $285 light bulb and enough labor at the dealership to walk out with a bill for nearly $600...for a headlamp! Call Cadillac for an explanation and you get nothing but a referral to a dealer. This is obscene and the money is not the issue. This is a car engineered for the dealership service department...NOT the consumer!! BEWARE!!
Overall review:
Buy it, but be prpared to spend some serious money when it needs repair or service.
