No, no, no. Find something else. by SAB in Atlanta, GA on 11/09/2011. Trim: 2005 Chrysler Pacifica FWD, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Good suspension and spacious.
Cons: Constantly having to repair something.
Overall review: No where do I find in MSN's comments the FREQUENT issues w/ this car breaking motor mounts due to poor engineering. I work in the parts dept at a very large used car dealer & have had numerous Pacificas come through the shop. Very literally, 9 out of 10 of them need the mounts replaced. Additionally, I own a 2005 & in the last year, had replaced three mounts, one of which just broke again last week after 3,000 miles. Why is this SO important? When the mounts on these break, the engine moves so much it pulls the top radiator hose off, you leak all your coolant out, & can possibly overheat, then blow a head gasket. Also puts strain on the CV axles. In addition to this, I've also replaced one ABS sensor, the EGR valve, and a CV axle. Right now, the oil pan gasket leaks (which the certified Chrysler tech at my job says is another common issue along with the mounts, steering rack, and transmissions. No wonder why he cause it a Pa-sh*t-ica). AVOID THIS CAR. IT HAS BEEN A MONEY PIT!

Lemon Chrysler Pacifica - RIP by HC- New Jersey on 12/27/2010. Trim: 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring FWD, Owned 5 years.
Pros: Smooth ride due to great suspension. Nice interior
Cons: Worst vehicle I have ever had. Unreliable and expensive to keep working. Chrysler is the worst company to deal with and dealers are at its mercy, powerless. Guarantee is full of small words and they don't honor it.
Overall review: Get away from this brand and model

Next to our Chrysler 300M, the BEST car I have ever owned. by John from Claremont, California on 01/21/2011. Trim: 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring FWD, Owned 5 years.
Pros: After owning a Chrysler 300M I was prepared to be somewhat disappointed. I was and am not. I have driven my Pacifica from California to the east coast via Canada six times and have never had a major or even minor repair, only routine maintenance at very friendly, efficient, low-cost dealers. I get about 18mpg in town, and between 25 and 27 mpg at 65-70 MPH on the highway. Ciomfort is outstanding, all accessories still work flawlessly. I wish Chrysler still made Pacifica; I would buy another any day. It is still stylish, shiny, with zero squeeks/rattles. Incidentally, I bought my Pacifica used with 18,000 miles on it. The best car purchase I have ever made.
Cons: Not much. It could use a bit more power, but then it is what it is, not a sports sedan. I wish I could gotten it with more back-of-second-seat storage instead of the 3rd seat which I never use. The in-town mpg could be better, but I don't use it to commute so that isn't an issue. Let's see: the passenger seat could use a lumbar support like the driver's, and I wish the back-seat center console could be removed to seat three in the back seat,
Overall review: As mentioned above, I would buy a 2011 Pacifica if they were still made and of similar quality.

Happy Owner by Sue on 10/04/2009. Trim: 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring FWD, Owned 4 years.
Pros: The comfort is amazing and the handling is excellent. Had a corvette I loved for those reasons and this is as close as it can be!! I love the styling and convienences. Everything about this vehicle is great. Can't say enough good about!
Cons: Actually the only thing that you could be called a disappointment is the gas mileage. I average 18 around town have gotten as much as 22 going to Las Vegas. The third row setting is only for little people.
Overall review: Hope they are still making these when I get ready to purchase my next car.
