Trim: 2004 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
This vehicle is a pleasure to drive. Acceleration and handling is excellent. Vehicle interior is outstanding. The roar of the engine is symphonic.
Cons:
Large blind spot when top up, and a gas guzzler. You don't buy this vehicle if your worried about price of gas, and I only drive with top down.
Overall review:
Basically a Ferrari with Maserati name plates. 0-60 in 4.8sec says it all. When Ferrari purchased Maserati they had something to prove, and boy did they with this vehicle. You can purchase this car for probably half of the original cost, what a deal.

Pros:
Fast, great looking, fairly priced.
Cons:
Visibility with the top up is limited.
2004 model did not come with wind blocker.
MPG is really low.
Overall review:
Had a 911 before it, no comparision.
The Maserati is a true level higher.
Ferrari lite.

Pros:
This car stands out in a croud and you are not likely to see another one being parked by the valet next to you.
Cons:
Radio could be a bit stronger. I do not have the Auditorium 200 system. I would recommend the additional cost.
Overall review:
Awsome ride, incredible handling, nothing like it.

Got Speed?
by Dave from NY on 04/05/2004.
Trim: 2004 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
This car has an understated, elegant and sporty look. Let me assure you that when I pull up to an intersection, heads turn. Especially when they hear that engine throbbing at a standstill. This car absolutely screams when it accelerates and man does it accelerate. The best part is that the unlearned in their M3's, SL500's and 911's look very puzzled from my rearview mirror. True. At a track in Texas the SL500 did a nosedive in all the turns and fell back and the 911's flat 6 could not keep up on the straight aways. There was a 400hp Jag and the drivers said it didn't even belong in the group. With a top speed of 176/mph there are really no challengers for a convertable in this price range.
Cons:
Haven't figured out the dash controls yet as I am so consumed with driving. Body style would not suffer from some more aggressive lines.
Overall review:
If you are looking for a true sports car with a real racing feel and the power to back it up, this is the one for you. Open the hood and pick your jaw off the ground after seeing and hearing what this car was built around. Just under 400/hp of a high revving, explosive engine designed and built in Modena Italy in cooperation with Ferrari. This engine will be tweaked to 500/hp and put in the Ferrari 360 Modena next year. Enough said.
