False Alarm!!! by Type S on 07/02/2004. Trim: 2004 Volkswagen R32 VR6, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: pretty comfortable inside, but it feels like the same vw, nothing's really changed inside, good power for vw, nice muffler sound after few minutes of running. VR6, AWD and 6 spd.
Cons: looks like the regular golf/gti on quick glance. tight back seat. still not as fast as turbo cars.

My favorite of all the toys by Bodie in Steamboat on 08/04/2008. Trim: 2004 Volkswagen R32 VR6, Owned 4 years.
Pros: Living @ 7500 ft in a ski town in the rockies, I love the all-wheel drive. No exaggeration, this car out-performs my two other traditional four-wheel-drive vehicles in the snow and ice. Summer driving is exquisite; smooth, fast and quiet. The R32's weight really holds it to the pavement in corners. I'm consistently getting 28 MPG on the highway.
Cons: It's a little challenging to get out of the car! The seats sit low, and hug you like a glove, so getting over the hip ridge of the seat can take some practice. And, get ready for the speeding tickets.
Overall review: This is my umpteenth "sports vehicle" and by far my favorite and best overall in performance. It is a real keeper, both summer and winter. While I was used to storing my other sports vehicles for 6 months a year, my R32 can't wait for it to snow. Also, the styling still turns heads every where it goes. I'm at 55,000 miles with no mechanical issues whatsoever.

Precision Instrument by Baby Boomer's Toy on 09/08/2004. Trim: 2004 Volkswagen R32 VR6, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: A wolf in deep blue clothing. Handles corners like it is on rails. Increase the RPM's and the sound is awesome. Overall engineering of this vehicle is true German technical perfection. Driving it conservatively in the city I'm getting 22.5 MPG, Hwy 27 MPG..
Cons: That VW didn't get it to the American marketplace quicker. If you live in a winter climate, figure $1500 for 4 wheels and all season tires. The Goodyear tires installed by VW are high performance summer tires.
Overall review: Oh Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
