Great Vehicle by Steve from Wisconsin on 01/02/2008. Trim: 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander LS 2WD, Owned 4 years.

Pros: Very happy with the whole vehicle. Great warranty
Cons: Requires a coastly timing belt replacement at 60,000 miles
Overall review: Bought this car new in 2004 and am very satified with it. Am even considering trading in my second vehicle, (a Toyota) in on a new Endeavor.

Great Value SUV by An MSN Autos Consumer on 08/13/2007. Trim: 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS AWD, Owned 3 years.
1
Pros: Great and unmatchable styling that no other car manufacturer can duplicate, even the new redesigned 2007 Outlander can’t compete with the 03-06 model designs. The 2007 model now looks just like any other SUV, very generic look. Very comfortable, functional interior without the unnecessary sparkle and glitter you may see on other more expensive premium cars. Respectable all wheel drive(AWD) system on snow, or MINOR off-road usage.
Cons: After a few thousand miles, you may start to hear unwanted metallic dings and dongs coming from the engine(not a malfunction or engine problem, simply wear and tear) that consumer may find comes to early on in terms of ownership. Suspension may also become very loose, noisy, and below expected quality. Car did unexpectedly stale on 2 or 3 separate occasions due to a transmission computer error, as explained by the technician, after leaving a Mitsubishi dealership for routine maintenance service.
Overall review: After near four years of ownership from mile zero(now @ 80k). I can vouch on this vehicle being safe and reliable. I love having a “wagon,” that I can drive through snow or take it on unpaved roads, and feel like im in a “sedan,” but have the comfort and security of knowing your in an SUV. A decent price for a decent car.

Very nice crossover by Kevin from PA on 01/29/2006. Trim: 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander LS AWD, Owned 2 years.
1
Pros: Handling, acceleration, gas mileage
Cons: no complaints
Overall review: This was my first foreign car and I'm very pleased with it. I can now understand why domestic carmakers are going downhill.

A solid vehicle. by Victor on 01/16/2006. Trim: 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS 2WD, Owned 1 year.
1
Pros: Very good general quality. Not one thing outstanding but all things above average. That makes for a very reliable, good quality and very reasonable priced vehicle.
Cons: Road noise can be overbearing at highway speeds.
Overall review: Very solid vehicle. A stand out among mediocrity.
