Love it by Dan - Ontario on 12/23/2008. Trim: 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I Love this car!!! no regrets buying it at all, the price was right, looks amazing, and drives great. and you don't see too many of them on the road
Cons: can't find parts for it anywhere... so it's a little more expensive to go through dealerships all the time
Overall review: yup

The perfect summer car by Doug from Newport Beach on 05/09/2008. Trim: 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Spyder, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Good acceleration, good stereo, comfortable front seats, reasonable ride, tight steering, (mostly) sensible layout of steering-wheel controls. Amazingly quiet ride (road noise) considering its a convertible. Fun to drive with the top down.
Cons: I purchased second hand, so maybe I just missed out, but lack of remote lock/unlock is a pain. Can only be opened on drivers side. Painted trim on interior of doors prone to scratching. Passenger-side seat-belt tends to flap around when not in use, causing cabin noise. Passenger seat a little loose on its rails so can vibrate when driving on an 'average' road. Forgetting to rotate tires causes excessive wear on inside of front tires, causing bumpy ride. Color-keyed plastic front bumper fades. Front windows can leak in moderate to heavy rain, leading to musty smell. With top up, incredibly poor rear/side visibility. Rear seat? What rear seat? Brakes a little soft.
Overall review: The one thing that really annoys me about this car is the visibility out the rear, and to the passenger side when the top is up. This is one car where you really do need to lean over to the passenger side and peek out the window to the side/rear when changing lanes. Not very practical if its your only car, there's virtually zero storage, and I've resorted to putting the top down to throw something on the rear seat, then putting the top back up. If you like driving around with the top down all the con's are blown (sic) away - visibility: perfect, cabin noise: not a problem.

Pros: Mitsu has no money left. Their cars are not selling at all That is why Chrsyler dumped them. They will be declaring bankruptcy in a year or so.
Cons: Survival of the fittest and this is the weakest link.
Overall review: Bad quality caught up with it.
