2004 E320 and Never a Problem

Pros:
Handling on snow & ice. Great fuel economy considering the full size and power. Car has been virtually trouble free and dealer will make automatic recall fixes as they become known...great service. Excellent long trip ride comfort. Distronic works flawlessly. Memory seats/mirrors a plus with two drivers. Mercedes safety has always been the single, most important reasons for buying their cars for over 32 years.
Cons:
No genuine dislike come to mind. I would say cost for add-ons appear quit high. i.e. Dealer quoted over $1500 to add an OEM Sirius system. no, thanks.
Overall review:
Drives well. Rides very well. Goes over 600 miles on a tank. Performance is extraordinary & solid. This model included full service which just ended a few months ago. Panoramic roof with solar panel is a favorite feature. Excellent navigation & audio system. Solid and SAFE vehicle.

Pros:
Beautiful styling and classic Mercedes feel makes this an awesome car. Just bought one for wife and she is in heaven!
Cons:
Underpowered but she doesn't need more than the six can provide. Competent acceleration.

So far so good. Just bought the car so we will see if all the bad reviews are true.

A poor mans S Class

Pros:
Performance, 7 speed transmission provides smooth responsiveness, handling is great, not too tight but not too sloppy. A poor mans S Class. Great value.
Cons:
Cloth design of the door thresholds. Should provide chrome like on the S Class. Lose too much trunk space with the nav system.
Overall review:
My third Mercedes.....still have a 1985 with 250,000 miles that I drvie everyday. Checked out Lexus who finally figured out how to design a caddy. But if you want performance this is the one. What a kick to drive whether it's on the Interstate or in the mountains of Georgia. For $15,000 less than an S430 all you're missing is a few inches in the back seat.
