LV Diesel VW by LV Diesel VW on 07/11/2005. Trim: 2004 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon GLS TDI, Owned 1 year.
Pros: - Low fuel consumption. - Comfortable interior. - Good handling.
Overall review: Just the right vehicle for me. I found what I needed in a vehicle. And it is faster and accelerates better than I expected with the 100HP Diesel engine.

Built solidly like a tank by Tworainy from Vancouver BC on 09/03/2012. Trim: 2004 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon GLS TDI, Owned 8 years.
Pros: Fuel economy, styling, fun factor, great cargo space, Made in Germany (not like the sedans from Mexico!)
Cons: Rear windows need to be regularly raised and lowered or the electric motor starts to bog down.
Overall review: Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Best used car purchase I've ever made by DaveinVA on 12/18/2010. Trim: 2004 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon GLS TDI, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Gas mileage, reliability, comfort, cargo space
Cons: side bolsters on front seats are a little narrow for my liking. Back seat leg room is marginal if front seats are moved to rear most positions
Overall review: Bought it with 112000 miles on it 6 months ago. I've put 13000 miles on it. Avg 37 mpg (best is 43 mpg, worst was 32). I am totally impressed by the quality of build, comfort and reliability. The oil changes are expensive, but only required every 10,000 miles. I hear that repairs are expensive, but I haven't needed any yet. I like the car so much, that when my wife's current car needs to be replaced in a few years, we will definitely look into bying a new TDI wagon.

state of the geman's 'art' ! by An MSN Autos Consumer on 04/15/2009. Trim: 2004 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon GLS TDI, Owned 5 years.
Pros: it's paid off, which means it's mine, and i want to believe i am saving a little money for the ride. well; the truth is it is making on the highway 42 miles from the us gallon. .... and this is why, and the only reason, i bought that german's piece of gowno! p.s. they call it THE STATE OF THE ART OF THE GERMAN'S MECHANICAL TECHNOLOGY. forget it. that's mechanical finest generation even before the last big war, .... is GONE. now you are dealing with lazy, without work ethic young people, who believe, they deserve a better life without not only thinking, but without any other effort. shame on you ;-) deutschland, deutschland uber alles! shame on you!
Cons: it is a piece of the german's known, gowno! since i bought it, it was a multiple times in a dealer's spot. the worst was: bad glow plugs and the pump. can you believe it? it is a heart of diesel's idea. the rest? i do not waste your time. it is a junk, but ... i have to keep it for couple of years :-( aj p.s. not rely on this site. it is very slow to respond your writing. and... they do not except words as .... we all know and we all use them. but... this is a pure, athletic, clear in all american's mind [americans are too slow to follow
Overall review: vw of amercia fixed everything. i had to wait a week for it :-() someday i want to sell a vw's junk, so i have to say. the car is Great. give me an offer ;-) your honest aj
