Fun, practical and high quality by Out There in Seattle on 06/02/2004. Trim: 2004 Subaru Legacy Wagon L 35th Anniversary Edition, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Great handling - low center of gravity and AWD. One less SUV on the road. Very functional and comfortable interior. Clean exterior design. Great gas mileage for an AWD vehicle. Smooth, quiet, and rattle-free.
Cons: Steering wheel height adjust limit a little low for me (6' 2
Overall review: Great vehicle for active people in all seasons. Room for four and all the stuff in back, and bike/ski/whatever racks on top. It's sporty, safe and economical. Come on, do you really need that big old SUV?

2004 Outback by Fred on 10/27/2013. Trim: 2004 Subaru Legacy Wagon 2.5 GT, Owned 10 years.
Useful?
Pros: Excellent handling and nimble in heavy traffic and mountains. Fantastic 4AWD for all weather conditions. Fun to drive.
Cons: A little too small (2004), but later years have much more passenger and cargo room. A little difficult for medium/large passengers to enter, especially for the driver.
Overall review: Well designed and basically maintenance free. Will be looking at the 2014's
