Solid Car, Reliable, Great MPG by Clayton on 04/30/2012. Trim: 2004 Honda Civic EX Coupe, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Fuel Economy, Build Quality - Solid!, Style, Reliability - Worry Free!, Cheap Ownership Cost, Resale Value, Large Trunk...
Cons: Uncomfortable Seats - on 3+ Hr Trips, Road Noise, Small Backseat - On Coupe...
Overall review: Great car! This car is economical, reliable, and keeps up with traffic. My Civic EX Coupe has been easy to maintain (oil, battery, brakes, tires, belts, plugs...) and I have had no major issues. Rated 30/38 City/Hwy, my 04 Civic EX gets 36mpg overall - mixed conditions. On long trips I enjoy close to 40mpg and I have never seen anything below 32mpg. I would prefer to have a sedan but the coupe was a pretty good deal back in 2010. No rust problems, no leaks from the sunroof, no engine/transmission issues or drivetrain issues. I would recommend this car to someone who wants value and fuel economy. I would NOT recommend this car to someone who wants luxury or performance. I am really happy with my 04 Civic and I look forward to years of problem-free ownership!

Great All-Around Car by Damon Gough on 05/09/2006. Trim: 2004 Honda Civic Si, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Engine is extremely responsive and smooth. Pulls smoothly and quickly from any speed in every gear. Clutch is great and I love the rally shifter. Seats are very supportive and comfortable. The red stitching on the seats is repeated on the shifter and steering wheel. Looks great. Handles well and is very quiet at cruising speeds. Gauges are white with black numbers and are illuminated amber at night. Very nice. Thanks to the shifter location there is a lot of storage space between the seats. There are two cupholders between the seats and a third that extends from the left side of the dash right where your left hand grips the steering wheel.
Cons: Electric power steering is numb at low speeds and there is a noticeable "hiccup" where assist lags when making sharp low-speed turns. Gas mileage could be better for such a small car with modest performance. I average 25 mpg around town and 30 mpg on the highway. Radio is low quality and does not like playing burned cds. Not really a con but I hate that the sunroof closes in two steps. Rides harshly over city streets. Difficult to park due to the fact that the high cowl and deep dash make it impossible to see the edges of the car through the windshield. Glove compartment is small, especially when compared to say, a Scion tc.
Overall review: I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a combination of practicality and sport. Apparently Honda didn't sell many Si's as I usually only see one or two others a week.

A great small and sporty car. by Ant, the Civic man on 01/21/2008. Trim: 2004 Honda Civic EX Coupe AT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: This is a great small, economical car. Adequate power, good auto tranny, comfortable noise levels, very good handling and firm, compliant ride. The interior materials are impressive! Very good visability. And being a Honda Civic, excellent fuel economy. A very good car for a young person or those young at heart.
Cons: Beautiful beige and tan interior easily stains. Road noise can get loud on rough surfaces. Firm ride can get a bit harsh on rough surfaces. All minor and definitely superior to Civic class competition.
Overall review: This Civic replaces a 2003 EX coupe w/manual. So, I was already aware of performance and efficiency. The quality is outstanding! Driving is definitely fun with a Civic Coupe. Car handles so nice, you have to remind yourself of being careful. Power is just right, not a speed monster, when you compare how fuel efficient it is. You would expect the fun factor to be low, but see for yourself. Even though there are a gazillion Civics on the road (no exclusivity), it's still highly recommended, full of quality, very durable, and have the best small car resale value. Nuff said.
