Nice Car

Pros:
Fantastic driving car. Quattro is very nice to have.
Cons:
Expensive repairs and horrible cup holders. My particular vehicle only has 60k on it, so no major expensive repairs so far, but they are expensive when stuff needs to be done. A recent new clutch is an example of this which was about $1,000 installed.
Overall review:
Great car, would recomend it to anyone who wants a nice, tight, good driving car with all weather capabilities.

Pros:
The overall appearance of the car is great, it looks a lot newer than it actually is. 4 wheel drive is great, handling in general is great. Front seats are spacious. A/C and heat are efficient. Sound system is good.
Cons:
Before listing the cons, I have a suggestion for those who are looking into buying a used Audi. I bought my A4 with 105000 miles on it from a small used car dealership. They assured me it was mechanically sound, and by the looks and feel of it, it was. Little did I know that 2 years later I would have spent $5000 in different repairs for this car. My suggestion: Take the car to a trusted mechanic before purchasing to make sure the car is in good mechanical condition. Since I bought my A4 I have had $2000 of engine work done (cylinders, pistons...), brakes, front and rear struts and shocks, and many other $300-$500 dollar jobs...
Overall review:
I didn't get to write the most frustrating thing about the 98 A4 in the Cons part... Along with all of the other mechanical problems, I have spilt a countless number of drinks because of the worst cupholders ever made.
The A4 looks nice on the outside; but it's like the movie The Heartbreak Kid; you have no idea what you're in for until you sign the papers and take it home.

It's absolutely gorgeous and handles exceptionally well.
Cons:
The cupholders.
Overall review:
I love this car. It's fast, smooth, and perfect for all situations. It's all I could ask for in a car. Others simply do not compare.

Pros:
Nice looking vehicle, handles reasonably well.
Cons:
At 100,000 kms(now) I have had to renew differential seals, both left and right and the seal at the rear end of the output shaft from the engine. The mass Oxigen diffuser has had to be renewed and the gasket from the air inlet into the throttle body has also had to be renewed. The yellow check engine light is on, this has been determined to be a fault in the main computer, which will cost Can$1768.00 to renew. In the last 6 weeks I have spent $2500 already
Overall review:
Possibly because there is a push to equip cars with so many elecric options, all controlled by a computer, a fault in the latter causes many faults, although the VW( not Audi, with whom i now do not wish to deal in Victoria, B.C.) has told me it is safe to drive the car even with the yellow check light permanently ON. This 2.8 Quattro vehicle seems prone to electric malfunctions.

Pros:
quatro all-wheel drive grips the road extremely well, takes corners like a true sports car, interior quality is excellent, magnaflow exhaust has a really good tone.
Cons:
none really ,engine gets really hot, turbo lag
Overall review:
great car, performance is pretty good, turbo lag is noticable below 3000 rpm's
