Wonder why they are allowed to sell these vehicles still.
by Mike on 07/29/2005.
Trim: 2004 Chevrolet Blazer 2-Door 2WD LS, Owned 1 year.
3
Pros:
The size overall is good.
Cons:
With only 30,000 miles they have rebuilt the rearend, front hub on the right side, a water leak in the engine compartment and replaces one tire at my expense. Rear wheels lock when using the breaks hard and the rear of the vehicle tends to pass the front when panic stopping.
Overall review:
Not very satisfied. There are 3 more of these vehicles where I work and they all are pron to many problems since new. Very poor engineering.

chevy blazer....good luck
by charlene from penna. on 08/21/2009.
Trim: 2004 Chevrolet Blazer 2-Door 4WD LS, Owned 5 years.

Pros:
I liked the way it handled in bad weather like with snow and ice...and it was comfortable on long trips...
Cons:
very poor on picking up speed when pulling out in traffic when you need it to go a little quicker...seemed like it had no speed or pick up to it...
Overall review:
i had this vehicle from 2004 to 2009 and it was good to me, engine wise never having a major problem but i had to replace the brakes a few times which i thought was strange and also the speed factor was a problem i thought -- not being able to pull out in traffic at a decent speed when you need to...no i would probably not buy another one...

Interior is roomier than in the past, the panel is easy to read, plenty of room in the front and back, seats are very comfortable. Back luggage area is adequate. Acceleration is good, smooth transition through all gears. Exterior is smart looking, not huge and not small.
Cons:
Gas mileage is poor, but hey - it is an SUV.
Overall review:
Enjoyable ride, nice, roomy intereior, good handling, easy to read panel - I like the vehicle. This is my 2nd Blazer in four years, I will probably buy anothe one in a few years.

Pros:
I love my Blazer ZR2. It has gotten me where I need to go no matter what the conditions. WE have had two or three ice/snow stroms since i bought it and I didn't have any trouble at all. It does awesome in mud, too.
Cons:
I cant reallt think of anything. MPG could be a little better.
Overall review:
I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who ever goes off road or lives in a location where the weather can be extreme.
