good ride
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 06/03/2004.
Trim: 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe 2WD, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Very nice looking vehicle, that offers a nice and smooth ride. Big enough for a tall person, but not a montrousity. It can easily be parked and has decent power to merger onto a freeway of oncoming traffic. Plenty room for a few adults. The second row seats have enough leg room for a tall (6' or taller) to sit fairly comfortably.
Cons:
The plastic inside. The whole console, dashboard and some the door trims are plastic. Not a great look when you spend a lot of money on a nice vehicle. Breaking isn't real senative, they need to be stepped on a little harder than other vehicles. Also the steering is sensative, but not unmanagable.
Overall review:
A very nice vehicle that handles good and is comfortable.

Pros:
Great ride and feel for the road. Lots of leg room for 2nd row passengers. Performance is good! Sound system is awsome especailly when you get XM Satelite Radio. OnStar is a big plus best option ever added.
Cons:
Gas mileage but what do want from a V-8!! 3rd row seats could have more leg room. Chevy has to come out with a Navigation system like all the other big boys. Even the Honda Civic and Toyota Prius at $20,000 has them!!!!
Overall review:
Would recommend this car to anyone i thought i would never by another American built car especially after my 94 Chevy Blazer.
Congrats Chevy!!!!!

Must Have

Trim: 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe 4WD, Owned 6 years.
Useful?
Pros:
I like the size, handling, comfort of this vehicle. i fell in love with it as soon as i saw it .It is tall and as a women that is 5'3 it makes me feel powerful. This vehicle handles well in 20 plus feet of snow, before this vehicle i would never drive in bad weather. It is fast on the highway you can easily hit 80 -90mph and it feels as if you are doing 65mph .I love it!!!
Cons:
glitchy electronics, with power locks, rear view mirror temp display, replaced instrument panel twice in 5 years ,noise in the dash that sounds like something is living in it. To small for a large family of 7 with two row seating wish i had a 3rd row, and leather seating Other than that great vehicle.
Overall review:
I love this truck will keep it forever.
