Pros:
they are a great vans.we still have one and have went through two before this one.we would love to find another one in good condition
Cons:
bottom of the sides infront of the wheels rot

THIS VAN IS NOT A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE-WHICH MEANS I HAVE NOT HAD TO REPLACE MY TIRES NEAR AS OFTEN DUE TO ALIGNMENT PROBLEM NOR CVJOINTS TO WORRY ABOUT REPLACING WHICH IS A MAJOR EXPENSE IN MOST FRONT WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES-

I HONESTLY CAN NOT THINK OF ONE

I HAVE 115000 MILES ON MY VAN & THE ONLY COMPLAINT THAT I WOULD GIVE FORD IS THAT THEY NO LONGER MAKE THIS VAN. THE ONLY THING I HAVE REPLACED ON THIS VAN OR THE TIRES, BATTERY & BRAKES EVERYTHING ELSE IS ORGINAL PARTS-IF ONLY ALL VEHICLES WERE BUILT & HELD UP AS WELL- THIS VAN CERTAINLY OUTDID THE DODGE CARAVAN I HAD-WHICH WAS A 93 & AT 73,000 MILES HAD TO HAVE A NEW TRANSMISSION - IT WAS ALSO A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE AUTO.

A kind of good van, but way to many problems

Pros:
Cargo space, towing lots of room inside
Cons:
Braking, way to many problems, plus Ford dealers can't even fix them, to much of a box on wheels dash bord odd looking

The Aerstar is just an average van.

Pros:
I like EVERYTHING about this car( excepy the Spare tire wich is one of those little ones)
I guess if there was a down side it would be that Ford has decided to stop making this Body style, That makes me cry, I don't know why when they come up with something so perfect, they have to go and change it?
Cons:
Stated above...DON"T STOP MAKING THIS BODY STYLE!!!
