Bought a used 2004 SRX...Ultraview makes Creaking noises.....

Pros:
I love this vehicle. It handles well, love the DVD system in the rear. Has luxurious feel to it.
Cons:
I just bought my previously-owned SRX at the end of March and from Day 1, I heard noises /creaks from the sunroof (ultraview) whenever I went over a bump. It sounded like the sunroof was going to come crashing in. It's been a little difficult dealing with the dealership I bought it from because supposedly it's not covered under warranty. I just don't like that they sold it to me like that and expect me to cover the expense to fix it. After all was said and done, they are taking care of it and I am not paying a dime. But it's still been a big pain to deal with.
Overall review:
I enjoy the ride, comfort and bells & whistles. I am now just a little nervous after reading everyone elses cons about this vehicle made from 04-07. I'm also feeling unsettled after reading the warnings not to purchase this vehicle used "a little too late." I guess I will just hope for the best and cross my fingers.

I own the used SRX 2004 V8 with 60K miles.
The problem with PS fluid dripping is common for the 2004, but resolved easy. I heard the same "spiel" on service (after basic warranty was expired) - that it is neccesary to replace both PS pipes underneath - for just near 1000 bucks including 4 hours of work, as well as possible to replace PS pump for 500! For me It was toо good to be true - and I gone to other dealership. They told, that my PS pipes is OK - and the problem just with corroded O-rings on those pipes. So just for 200 they fixed all those problems with dripping and engine sound. Just avoid sells gimmics!

Pros:
Great value compared to other SUV's. V6 performance is awsome with 22 MPG Highway 17 in town. The navigation system is a must have. Everyone Loves this car. Cadillac is now squarely in the Luxury performance mix with a style that you can be proud of. Everyone else just looks the same and pales by comparison.
Cons:
Strong wind buffeting when rear windows are lowered. This can be quite loud.
The dealership only had 1 and hasn't gotten more for over 2 months. Good thing I liked the Black one they had.
Overall review:
A pleasure to own and drive. They are few and far between, which makes SRX owners a unique breed for now. This vehicle shows none of the bad habits of all other

Pros:
Beautiful ride!!!
Cons:
Not a good vehicle to put car seats in. I thought I'd have enough room for two older children and a toddler. It's a very tight fit for a car seat. The car seat doesn't fit snug on the second row. I don't feel safe putting it int he third. Also DVD is in an awkward place.
Overall review:
We are very happy with the look of the car and especially the comfort an overall ride. Just a little disappointed with the inability to properly install a toddler car seat. When my older boys sit in the back it's difficult to see the DVD.
