Ford Got It Right: Millenium Retro Boulevarder

Pros:
Love my RetroBirds: I like the car so much I own two 2004s and have owned 5 total since the 2002 introduction. Roadster reminds me of the 50s Early Bird 2 seaters everytime I look at it with subtle and not so subtly but tasteful styling cues. Comfortable, stylish, and unlike a Corvette, SL500, TT, SLK or Miata for that matter you won't meet one at every corner: Very unique and will only get rarer with low production numbers. They also have a very high attention and head turner quotient. Very nice boulevarder: Ford got it right!
Cons:
No mp3 or satellite ready tuner: wiring is not pre-installed; cheap sun visors; requires premium fuel and no storage but that is a given with this type of automobile so not appropriate to criticize.
Overall review:
Very Nice Low Volume Boulevarder that you won't meet at every stoplight and will get lots of looks. Everyone seems to have a T-Bird story, knew someone who owned one, or wanted one as a kid.

styling is classic
Cons:
comfort, quality...not even close to my MBZ 190E and 300D. Slow response, three trips to the shop for warranty repairs. Not a very good statement for the FOMOCO. My 1967 Mustang could out perform it, even 40 years ago when I was much more into performance cars. Mostly show, not much go. A lady's car.
Overall review:
As I said, the looks are great. the performance and quality are substandard...buy a Mercedes for the same price and you'll be more satisfied.
