RL is a well kept secret, it comes stock with many extras others charge for by jim on Whidbey on 02/04/2008. Trim: 2004 Acura RL 3.5 RL, Owned 3 years.
Pros: This is my second Acura and the best car I've owned, I'm also a prior Lexus owner 05. This one has it all, great ride quiet and smooth as well as quick. Excellent fit and finish.
Cons: Main drawback is 16-20 mpg and it requires premium fuel, there must be a solution.
Overall review: Nothing goes wrong with the Acura, I guess that's because it's made by Honda

Acura's BEST kept SECRET !!! by Fabvsix on 03/29/2005. Trim: 2004 Acura RL 3.5 RL, Owned 1 year.
Pros: This is my 7th Honda product. It is the BEST ! The last of the goodies. Don't care for the look of the 2005, too Accordish and vowed NEVER to buy a new production model ! Buy the last, as I did with regards to this fabulous 100% Japanese made car ! Reliability, fit and finish, quality worksmanship, silky smooth performance !
Cons: Better gas mileage, v-8 would be awesome !
Overall review: BIG RELIABLE BANG FOR YOUR BUCKS ! Get em while you can !

Acura's by Kent from Murphysboro, IL on 07/18/2004. Trim: 2004 Acura RL 3.5 RL, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Timeless design and elegance, coupled with a spirited performance make this a luxury car that appeals to those who like quality at an affordable price. I've grown accustomed to Honda standards, having graduated from an Accord, to a 2002 TL, and now to a 2004 RL. This vehicle is definitely a keeper.
Cons: A 5-speed transmission and a few more horses wouldn't hurt. However, the RL's performance on both highway and freeway is more than I'd expected.
Overall review: A first-rate luxury sedan at a reasonable price.
