Italian Heritage Incarnate by An MSN Autos Consumer on 11/30/2004. Trim: 2003 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa, Owned 1 year.
Pros: What a thrill to drive this car! I took it on a road trip along the Pacific coast and despite inclement weather thoroughly enjoyed the long drive. The car handled beautifully and had all the creature comforts one would desire.
Cons: The Skyhook suspension system underperforms at lower speeds.
Overall review: An excellent road-going exotic.

Fantastico ! by Tony from Long Island, NY on 01/20/2004. Trim: 2003 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa, Owned 1 year.
Pros: A beautiful piece of Italian sculpture. Handles like a dream. Makes driving an almost religous experience. Fast and responsive. Dealer service is excellant.
Cons: Absolutely nothing !
Overall review: The best cure for a mid-life crisis. Anyone who needs a cupholder should buy a mini-van. This car is not for you.

It'll knock your teeth out... by John, California on 09/10/2003. Trim: 2003 Maserati Spyder GT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Buy it for the gearbox and the engine. It sings and it will knock your teeth out...
Cons: Park your qualms in the engine bay of this car and it will swallow them whole.
Overall review: I bought this car as a demo and I drive it on a regular basis. Unless you have the extra $120k to drop on a 360 Spider forget about it... There's nothing else that comes close. You have to drive it, you'll be converted. The Ferrari Engine and 'box (made in the Ferrari factory for Maserati) are worth the price tag alone. They say the Cambio/Auto box detracts nothing from the performance but the GT feels like it's got a ton more torque; Don't be a girl, get the stick...

You can't touch this by John, California on 09/10/2003. Trim: 2003 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The most elegant 2-seater on the road? The Maserati heritage that I have learned so much about since purchasing this car shines through in the quality of the drive and the smoothness of the ride over its 2002 counterpart. The quality of the leather interior combined with the attention you receive driving this car are very unique. This car changes your life.
Cons: I didn't like the lack of a glass rear-window on the 02's (it was plastic) and the ride was also bumpier on that model year. Maserati fixed that for 03 although it still doesn't have cupholders. Apparantly the 04 models will, and I've been told you can also fit them aftermarket very simply.
Overall review: Life and mind-altering, though not wallet withering like I expected. Great 4 year warranty which I didn't expect either. You feel like you've arrived in this car. Not as stark as a Porsche on the inside, not as old-mannish as a Jaguar or Lexus, and not as mundane and country club symbolic as a Mercedes. I love it and I'm not swapping it!
