A great SUV by Alex on 12/21/2004. Trim: 2003 Isuzu Axiom XS 4WD, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Great look, espically with the Chrome wheels. Comfortable interior with nice trim and good build quaility. Engine has a nice power band as well. There is nothing else on the road that looks like it
Cons: Still a bit of a "truckish" ride
Overall review: This is an exremely unique and different car that is not found on every street corner. It has a incredibly strong build quality and the engine is practically bullet proof. Handles both street and off road challenges with ease and is overall a lot of fun to drive.

Excellent SUV - but make sure you get a GREAT discounted price when you buy by Kevin from Citrus Heights, CA on 03/09/2005. Trim: 2003 Isuzu Axiom XS 2WD, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Although the professional reviewers have tagged the Axiom's styling as "controversial", I have heard nothing but positive comments. I like that it's not like everything else on the road, but it's not so odd looking as to look alien. The climate control system works flawlessly, ride is comfortable, and controls well placed and easy to read/use. Seating is comfortable, with plenty of headroom, even for a tall guy like me. Decent sound system.
Cons: Mine makes a wind noise that doesn't sound right to me. I took it in three times to have it fixed and the first two times, they agreed it shouldn't make this noise, but after being unable to fix it, they decided it was a "normal" road noise. Every one of my car keys have lost the screw that holds them together.
Overall review: I liked this car and would have considered it seriously even without the deeply discounted price. But because this car remains strangely unpopular with buyers, dealer stocks in many areas are high and you should be able to shave a LOT off the list price. Lower than average resale values for this car make it especially important to get a good deal when you purchase it.

A good riding, high stlye, high quality SUV by Jim on 11/21/2003. Trim: 2003 Isuzu Axiom XS 2WD, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: The exterior and interior styling make the Axiom real standout, mine has Anthracite paint, chrome strips and chrome wheels, it is beautiful. The gray leather interior is very comfortable, well laid out and attractive, the two tone door panels with leather trim and the steering wheel are great styling accents. the AC and radio controls along with the well detailed shift lever and gate have a high quality appearance. The exterior styling is fabulous and is a real attention getter. The 230 HP engine is a real plus and the gas mileage is acceptable.
Cons: The information panel appeared to be very complicated and busy, but with a few trips to the owner's manual you can sort it out and get the information you want displayed on the panel. The driver's seat track does not not have enough travel for anyone over 6 feet tall.
Overall review: This is a very good riding, comfortable truck (yes, it is a truck) with great looks , quality and performance that has been very unfairly overlooked by the automotive press. Some of the earlier reviews I read were very critical of the Axiom. This is a vehicle you must look at and try out for yourself. it is a great value for the money, the dealers are offering great discounts and incentives on this vehicle. I would recommend the Axiom to anyone looking for a SUV in this price range. The Axiom is truly Isuzu's best kept secret.

Unique by ezshift5 on 04/28/2012. Trim: 2003 Isuzu Axiom S 4WD, Owned 8 years.
Useful?
Pros: Unique in style
Cons: Radio and ac controls are one unit therefore if I wanted to upgrade it, I would need to keep the stock unit for the ac to work
Overall review: I'm still in love with it
