Awesome all around vehicle by An MSN Autos Consumer on 03/27/2012. Trim: 2003 BMW X5 4.4i, Owned less than 1 year.
3
Pros: Have had a 2012 for about 3 months now and I still love the car. Fun to drive, handles like a dream, and practical for the soccer field/Hauling, car pools, etc. Also, great car to take clients out with at work. Overall very happy
Cons: If you have to ask RE: gas mileage...
Overall review: Great car

First BMW...some quirks, but still prefer over Lexus or Mercedes by Dan from Orlando, FL on 04/18/2005. Trim: 2003 BMW X5 4.6is, Owned 2 years.
2
Pros: Styling, Handling, Comfort. Much more enjoyable to drive than Lexus.
Cons: Poor fuel consumption, cargo cover always rattles, sporty, bumpy ride. A few quirky ergonomics. Noisy and inefficient A/C. 4.6is isn't worth $70 g. Should have gone with a 4.4i, instead.
Overall review: Amazing acceleration, only the Porsche Cayenne is faster than the 4.6is, but less attractive interior. Superb sound system. First BMW. Onto a 750 Li and 645 Ci. No more Lexus (although better ergonomics and A/C than BMW). Awful Nav system.

Pros: Tight quality vehicle. I forget I'm in an SUV. It drives superbly.
Cons: Needs more center console room for stuff.
Overall review: Buy another one tomorrow.

Cons: (No data provided)
Overall review: Pleasure to drive!!! V-6 has plenty of power and is OK for gas mileage. Handles more like you expect a SUV to handle (wife has RX 300 which drives like a nice station wagon).

It definitely is the Ultimate Truck! by Shoebug on 05/15/2007. Trim: 2003 BMW X5 3.0i, Owned 4 years.
Useful?
Pros: This SAV is absolutely great! It drives extremely well in all weather conditions. I've driven this vehicle in downpours, ice, snow, gusty wind. It handles well and gets great gas mileage considering it's an SAV. It drives so well sometimes you forget you're driving an SAV/SUV. Well-built by BMW.
Cons: What I don't like about this vehicle is the fact that it's not roomy. The cargo space is small especially when you travel with luggage and 100 lb. dog. Other than that, it's a great vehicle.
Overall review: Overall, this car is well worth it, the performance and handling is great! It handles well and safe! Maintenance is minimal as well.
