Check it out! by Aerio-Man on 03/09/2004. Trim: 2003 Suzuki Aerio S, Owned 1 year.

Pros: I have a 5-speed manual and have added a cold air intake to add a little more power. I looked at a Honda Civic and a Mitsubishi Lancer. It seems like every other car is a Honda. The Lancer is only 120HP and was weak. Great standard features for the price. Comfortable. Ample room for tall people. Even in backseat!
Cons: Interior plastic surfaces. No middle armrest. MPG (for a small car) not that great. I'm getting around 26 per gallon. Floormat wearing out pretty fast.
Overall review: Aside from the few interior issues this car is great for the money. I paid just a little over 10K brand new! I have driven over 11K and have had no problems.

Buyer beware!!! by damnlimey69 from Lewiston on 04/04/2008. Trim: 2003 Suzuki Aerio S, Owned 3 years.
Useful?
Pros: I liked the fact that it was a inexpensive car and that the mpg were reportedly great. Has good pickup for a little car and I'm able to skip in and out of rush hour traffic with little problems.
Cons: Where do I start...let's see, How about no aftermarket support!!! Once they've sold you the vehicle you can forget about any support from the dealership. Should you go elsewhere for repairs, make sure that they can get the schematics of the engine BEFORE you have them try. $2000 later and my car is still not repaired and the dealership will not return any of the 3 calls made to them about it. Not much help from the main office in Ca, as "Each dealership is independently owned!" So BUYER BEWARE!! Check out the maintenance dept of any dealership you buy from.
Overall review: Take a look at what I dislike above.

Silver GS AWD by Vic on 03/31/2006. Trim: 2003 Suzuki Aerio GS, Owned 2 years.
Useful?
Pros: AWD. Good value.
Cons: No standard center console/armrest. Must buy as an accessory. Squeaky rear suspension. Very little aftermarket support.
Overall review: Overall happy with the Aerio. It's hard to personalize with little aftermarket support. 2006 will be the last year for the Aerio. It's being replaced by the SX4.
