Inovative engineering by Chuck in Colorado Springs on 04/11/2011. Trim: 2003 Honda Insight Hatchback with A/C and CVT, Owned 2 years.

Pros: Efficient, sleek styling. All-plastic body on an aluminum frame will never corrode. Hybrid drive is amazing. It's a great commuter car. It gets 50-60 MPG in town, upper 60's on the highway.
Cons: Being lightweight and aluminum, the ride is noisy. Uncomfortable for long drives.
Overall review: Too bad Honda stopped making this model. The CRZ and current Insight do not come close to the innovation in this ORIGINAL hybrid!

Pros: I have owned this car almost 5 years. I average overall over 50 mpg. I love the design, handling, and reliability of this car. I have NEVER had a problem with it. I have over 75,000 miles on mine and drive it in all weather conditions. It have proven to be highly reliable.
Cons: no cruise this year. seats a little stiff for long drives. Hard to drive away from places as everyone wants to know info on the car.
Overall review: would recommend highly anyone to purchase IF they can find one. I will never sell mine!

Who does not want to make 50 miles per gallon? by An MSN Autos Consumer on 01/23/2005. Trim: 2003 Honda Insight Hatchback with A/C and CVT, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Gas saver. Lots of high tech involved in the functioning and design. Performs like a regular compact car. Appealing design and nice comfort level
Cons: Noisy ride. Only two seats
Overall review: Excellent car for day to day commuting. The value/price ratio of this car is incredible. Sometimes it makes me think that this car is a reality prototype put on the streets in order to evaluate with real facts its performance

Pros: tremendous style, economy and reliability!
Cons: seats need to be more comfortable. Many people who own this car are well past their teens and expect more comfort.
Overall review: this is the best car I've ever owned when looked at in total!
