Try it, you will like it!! 2003 Boxster S by creature from Aptos on 03/12/2011. Trim: 2003 Porsche Boxster S, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Debated on getting a boring daily driver but decided for the same price I could get a used Boxster S with Bose sound and the 18" wheels. Commuting to work has gone from being a chore to a complete pleasure. Fast enough, handles like a slot car, looks great. As has been said "Porsche. There is no substitute" Thought that was marketing BS before, my opinion has changed considerably!
Cons: Attracts more attention from the CHP ;-) Gas gauge inconsistent readings when "full" no biggee
Overall review: Love it, "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. " - Ferris Bueller

Get the S in the Boxster by Clovis CA on 12/31/2009. Trim: 2003 Porsche Boxster S, Owned 1 year.
Pros: It beats them all and gets more looks than the rest. I have owned a BMW M3, a Jaugar convertible, a Mercedes Kompressor, a Corvette and then I bought the Boxster S....case closed. Hands down the best open rode vehicle.
Cons: They need better cup holders. Us Americans deman better cup holders. Glass for the reat window on the convertble...but wait. Porsche already fixed these as they listened to the critisim unlike the American car makers.
Overall review: The Best.

a truly practical TRUE sports car by Rob on 10/28/2008. Trim: 2003 Porsche Boxster Base, Owned 4 years.
Pros: outstanding reliability, fun to drive, TONS of luggage space. a great everyday driver...makes every day seem like a special occasion...
Cons: a few subtle rattles and creaks from time to time
Overall review: one of the best sports cars out there for the money, and the handling is truly world-class. Not only that, but it functions beautifully as a daily driver, and is the best for road trips. an all-around OUTSTANDING car!

Awesome Sports Car by Jeff D on 03/01/2003. Trim: 2003 Porsche Boxster Base, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Ultimate sports car. Only driven on nice dry days so can't relate on how it performs in non-ideal pavement. Even though the 2003 wasn't totally redesigned, I love the exterior changes with the clear turn signals and cleaner lines. The front looks just like 2 year old 911's. New Glass window was a must for me (I wouldn't have bought an older model with a plastic window).
Cons: Stereo is a little complicated and not as nice as other vehicles that I have owned. I even paid the extra $1400 for the Bose. Sound quality is excellent, but you just have to be patient when changing radio stations with the second and a half delay with the press of each of the 10 radio presents. There is actually more storage than most people give it. It does have two trunks (front and rear) and has more room that other 2 seat roadsters.
Overall review: Awesome vehicle. Only owned mine for 4 months, but still love it. Only used for leisure use, so don't know how it would perform for everyday use.
