Pros:
Comfort and luxury driving, anytime, anywhere, any speed. Plenty of reserved power.
Fuel economy considering the bulk and weight. Must be light footed. I did 1000km on full tank on the 735Li.
Cons:
Sensitive to battery voltage and amperes. Always check. Need to know and understand the car like a mechanic to understand the whole system,
Overall review:
I got my own test book diagnostic computer and programming in order to keep the maintenance low.

Cons:
Everyone once in a while a glitch in the navigation system requires me to pop the dvd out and reinsert.
Snow handling is horrible without the (not included) snow package and tires. Once installed the car handles and drives through most anything. Without it .... stay in the driveway.

Ignore the trash talkers -the only car worth owning in it's range
by John on 03/24/2004.
Trim: 2003 BMW 7-Series 745Li, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Everything about this vehicle is superior to comparable brands and models. Styling, performance, integration, ergo, the list goes on.
Cons:
Tire pressure monitor sensors are too sensitive resulting in false positive for flat tire with a tolerance of 2psi
Overall review:
Excellent. If you can get over the initial design shock (body) you will love it like no other. This is my 8th 7 series BMW - I buy new every year and have owned 750IL's for the past 4 years - the 745LI is every bit the performer and pleaser of the 2002 750IL - no small feat. I can't wait until I trade for the 760LI.

7 series - 2nd go around.
by Keith from Crystal Lake, IL on 12/27/2003.
Trim: 2003 BMW 7-Series 745Li, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Engine, Drivetrain, Interior comfort, Logic7 radio, truly the best BMW to own yet. Truly a drivers car, after owing previous 7's I was amazed at the improvement in the driving experience.
Cons:
Many little problems requiring visits to service. Lack of manufacturer CPO type program for Buyers wanting protection past 50k miles. Lack of choices for replacement tires on the 19" wheels.
Overall review:
Solid car, I don't know of another car on the market that will provide a "true drivers" car as this one does except MB at another 20-30k.

My previous car was a LS 430 by Lexus, I loved that car. But this is a CAR, if you want the sportcar feel in a luxury 4dr this is it. This car feels like a bank vault on rails, its amazing and I dont know why people make a big deal about Idrive its real easy and fun to use. This car is great and very fun to drivem, by the way I opted for the sport package with the 19 inch wheels.....WOW
Cons:
shoud come standard with a cassette you would expect this in a car that cost close to 90k
Overall review:
I love it and now I know why BMW is the ulitmate driving machine, I am now a BMW man.
