Smart Buy
by David on 04/14/2006.
Trim: 2003 Toyota Tacoma Xtracab 4WD, Owned 3 years.
1
Pros:
Built like a tank and hard to get stuck, great mileage for all that you can do with it.
Cons:
Could use a little more power (easily corrected with TRD supercharger), and I've had some problems with starting that toyota recognized and would of fixed if I had brought it in sooner.
Overall review:
Great truck that will get you anywhere. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and people who don't want to spend all their money on maintanance.

Good Truck
by NH Toyota owner on 01/10/2004.
Trim: 2003 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab V6 4WD, Owned 1 year.
1
Pros:
Toyota quality, roomy back seat for the kids, powerful engine, good suspension with the TRD package. I don't off road, but having the TRD keeps the truck from bouncing all over the place when driving over bumps.
Cons:
Shallow bed. The front seats are uncomfortable and do not offer any lumbar support. The audio control are hard reach while driving. The heat cranks in this truck and its difficult to find a comfortable setting. Sticker price of $27,000 for a compact pick-up truck.
Overall review:
This is the 2nd Tacoma I have owned. I enjoy the truck and only wish that I could afford a Tundra.
