Terrific Sporty Coupe not available anytime soon by Paul Valencia on 07/16/2012. Trim: 2003 Honda Accord EX Coupe, Owned 9 years.

Pros: A Driver's Car , Silky smooth 5 speed manual , good performance with a nice amount of torque from the 4 cylinder engine , i have a lead foot and get an outstanding 33 MPG in traffic jammed LA . Terrific Nimble handling in this price range . Absolutely stellar reliability 155000 still on original clutch . Very comfortable firm front seats , I am 6ft4 . The seats go back far and I have plenty of leg room . Coupe doors are long so no blind spot from the B pillar , Split 60/40 drop down back seats means i can store my Trek Madone inside the trunk and keep it safe . All the accessories are well designed and function well into their 9th year.
Cons: Not enough rear leg room , like most coupes its hard to get into rear seat . Big doors means find a good size parking spot to open the long doors , 6 CD changer was replaced under warranty , That is IT !! No other mechanical or trim Repairs ever . No timing belt replacement needed with this engine. Runs on low octane gas and delivers 33mpg
Overall review: Terrific Car and motoring Value . Negotiate hard to get a good price as there are plenty of Hondas around < dealers know they are in demand .Best resale value in the used car market . But the used car buyers will wait a long time for mine i ain't letting go of it anytime soon

A loveable and reliable sedan by ezshift5 on 04/22/2012. Trim: 2003 Honda Accord EX Sedan w/ Leather, Owned 10 years.

Pros: 03 EX model with leather, very comfortable interior, heated seats work well, dashboard and radio still look recent despite being a 9 year old car. Engine has enough power to get the job done and still gets great gas mileage. Manual transmission is very smooth, not clunky at all, still not worn. Good trunk space, power sun-roof is still good, good stock audio system. Went with this car instead of camry because camry did not have abs while the accord did. About 116,000 miles on it. The ride is smooth and the steering isn't too heavy. The car does not have a timing belt, but rather a chain that will never need replacing .
Cons: The emergency brake did not work after about 100,000 miles, so it was a burden with a manual transmission but the local shop fixed it. Oxygen sensor also went, big job to replace it.
Overall review: Amazing car still to this day, has served the family very well. Clutch is still great, sound system great, gives a good ride, all the friends can't believe the car is 9 years old. I like the styling of this generation better than the current accords, it looks more sporty.

Honda in Richmond by An MSN Autos Consumer on 06/01/2010. Trim: 2003 Honda Accord LX Sedan AT, Owned 3 years.

Pros: Appearance and drive are great.
Cons: Our Honda began using excessive oil (1 qt/1000 miles) at 70K miles. No leakage and even changed PCV valve but it did not correct. I looked on the internet and found lots of others with same problem but Honda considers thisoil consumption normal. All mechanics I talked to said it was rings which is exactly what I found on internet. Ended up switching out the motor for $2200 becaue the rest of the car was in excellent shape. This is not only my Honda but lots of others have reported this issue with 2003 Honda Accord 2.4 4 cylinder engine. Sometimes Hondas are not all they are cracked up to be. Also have had to replace back oxygen sensor as reported as a problem on MSN under reliability.
Overall review: Reliability is not good, oil consumption and oxygen sensor issues.
