AWD Road Trip Cruiser by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/08/2011. Trim: 2003 Dodge Caravan Grand ES AWD, Owned 7 years.
Pros: Excellent performance, comfort, handling. Get the 3.8 liter engine and tow package. I had a 2002 Caravan that had neither and the driving experience was clearly inferior.
Cons: A bit more cargo room behind the third seat. Wish the second row windows rolled down. Some minor repairs over the years. The worst was a broken valve spring going up a steep grade at 75 miles per hour and sustained 5000 rpm on the tach at 125,000 miles. I guess I kind of deserved it.
Overall review: This is the best auto I have ever owned. All wheel drive provides great snow handling. The towing package firms up the ride and handling compared to the models without tow package. The 3.8 liter engine provides a noticeably improved driving experience over the 3.3 liter. The dark blue leather interior looks new after 8 years. I have driven this vehicle hard, but have taken care to maintain it well. Regular synthetic oil changes and transmission services. Synthetic oil has increased the power and performance of the engine and made it run more quietly. It has 130,000 on it and I hope to take it to at least 200,000.

GRAND CARAVAN SPORT - 5 Star! by Wally B. - Saint Johns, AZ on 03/01/2014. Trim: 2003 Dodge Caravan Sport, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Use only Moble1 synthetic oil. Put a new additive that works great in the oil, transmission, and power steering called XADO (EX120). Keeps and rejuvenates all as if new. Have as of today 388,783 miles on the car and it is going strong and smooth.
Cons: The squeaks and rattles, I spotted those and fixed them with a few rubber shims and using GreatStuff inflate foam (the long fiberglass suspended gas tank had a half inch gap above it so if you hit a big bump it would pop up, hit the floor board and back again) The foam I put above it prevents that. Used the foam also to brace the different lines that ran from front to back underneath that would also slap (rattle) against the under belly.
Overall review: Overall though it is a great mini-van. With the windows rolled up it is as quite as a Rolls Royce. When running, I have to visually look at the dash lights to see that it is being that it is so quiet. The sound system for the radio, CD, DVD sound like your sitting in a quadraphonic movie theater. The one I got has the largest V6 engine (3.8L) made for that model so the MPG is about 21 / 22. The "auto power" sliding door is temperamental. It appears not to work at times but it works, you just have to have all doors unlocked for it to work. If one door (any) is locked, it will not work. Once you realize that, it works fine. In the case of my car, the back left door lock will auto lock when I hit the remote but will not un-lock when I hit the remote. So, I need to manually unlock then the sliding power door works.

Red Mini-van by Pkg Man on 10/30/2003. Trim: 2003 Dodge Caravan Grand ES FWD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Screen in top center of windshield is a real plus for improving visibility.
Cons: The 16" wheels make the vehicle higher thatn previous models and make entry more difficult for old people and short adults. A handhold for the right front passenger near the top of the windshield like those in vehicles by other mfrs would be most helpful.
Overall review: Liked my 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager better in terms of ride, enty ease. New requirement for oil changes every 3000 miles to protect warranty is a real pain.

Northwest Grandma by Jam from Belfair on 08/14/2003. Trim: 2003 Dodge Caravan Sport, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: It is stylish, gets good gas mileage, is easy to handle, and basically a very comfortable vehicle.
Cons: The sun visors are too low, causing me to twist around to see the traffic lights. The cotton-picking emergency brake release is so far down and back that it takes a double-jointed person to release it. I also miss the storage drawers under the seats that were in my last caravan.
Overall review: Basically, a very good vehicle so far. With a few improvements with women in mind, it could be terrific.
