Fun to drive with power galore
by Bobo on 04/23/2009.
Trim: 2003 Jeep Wrangler X, Owned 5 years.

Pros:
I enjoy the power with the 4.0 6cyl. the power between the gears is out standing. It's fun to drive and the quality in this Jeep is great. The paint is good and the and the balence of the body is good. The top keeps the heat in during the course of the window compared to the previous model's.
Cons:
The only thing I didn't like was the Goodyear tires that came with the Jeep. There were horrible in snow.
Overall review:
I've enjoyed owning this Jeep cause it has good seating, nice shifting through the gears and plenty of torgue. The 4.0 is the best motor they have ever made and it's better than the 6cyl 3.7

Feelin' Free in 03
by Greg from Harpers Ferry, WV on 10/04/2002.
Trim: 2003 Jeep Wrangler Sport, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Good looks, easy to maneuver and park, truly an off road vehichle and just a whole lot of fun.
Cons:
Needs a real ashtray, paint quality could be better, underpowered, a diesel engine and snorkel would be idea.
Overall review:
Its not for everyone you really have to "drive" this vehichle, but its lineage and fun factor make it a truly great ride.

Pros:
The ability to go off road if needed. Very versitile- I use it to pull a landcsaping trailer for a PT business.
Cons:
Bought it used with 35,000 at approx. 75,000 miles the trams "exploded". I was not covered by warranty- I aws over the mileage limit by 200 miles!!! So I had to put in a rebuilt for almost $4000.
Overall review:
I still enjoy riding it, I like it better then the new style and would definately buy another one!!!

Pros:
everything very versatile vehicle git r done in a wrangler
Cons:
i have two tops and its a burden with no storage space and the hard top weighs 150 pds so thats alot of fun to put on the truck i have it customised and it seems everytime i do something to it i have to modify or order another part from quadratec i also had problems with service light coming on and off it was my gas cap took it to dealer of course no problems and it cost me 100 bucks so they could hook up there computer and tell me what i already knew i would buy a jeep vehicle again but not the 08 wrangler because of the engine size and body changes its ugly bring back the 4.0
Overall review:
cool truck fun to drive it would be nice if jeep added some type of storage system to the truck back in 03 like they do know or modified the tops and offered them as an option instead of having to order aftermarket ones but thats my only beef the tops and no storage other then that great truck. buy this for your second car not for those bell and whistle people or those who want luxury vehicle like hummer or land rover for weeekend get aways or offroading with your buddys on the weekend

2003 Rubicon the best vehicle to take off-road
by Rubi owner on 03/08/2008.
Trim: 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, Owned 1 year.
1
Pros:
The most capable off-road vehicle I've ever owned. Great power on this 4.0 L I6 engine. I can take it everywhere I please. People compliment the vehicle a lot.
Cons:
Of course it is noisy and bumpy, but when you have an off-road capable car, you have to sacrifice comfort. It is a lot more comfortable than my 1994 Jeep however.
Overall review:
I love this Rubicon. I'll never get rid of it. I want it for life and pass it on to my son.
