Park Avenue Ultra is Great American RoadCar! by Arlen on 05/24/2005. Trim: 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra, Owned less than 1 year.
2
Pros: Size, comfort, style, power, economy and reliability. This large car accommodates 6'4", 280 lb. driver with high level of comfort. Styling attracts attention in tasteful way. The S/C 3.8 engine is not only bullet-proof but provides strong acceleration with average fuel economy of 25mpg in my driving routine.
Cons: Very little dislikes. Could have improved on the console operation and covered it with more durable material. The split frame front power seats require more adjustment to achieve maximum comfort, but do provide more seating positions.
Overall review: For less than the cost of a new Chevy Impala, you can have complete luxury in a one or two year old regular Park Avenue or Ultra. With all the attributes mentioned above you won't be disappointed with one of these great American cars!!!

MSN review way off base! by An MSN Autos Consumer on 07/28/2003. Trim: 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra, Owned 1 year.
2
Pros: ride, comfort, power
Cons: same as lesabre; quality of plastics and materials should be higher for a vehicle of this price stature
Overall review: The guy who did this review was totally way off base; the Park Ave was NOT redesigned in 1984, 1986, and 1989. The first "C" body debuted for 1985, which replaced the "B" body Park Ave which at that time shared it's platform with the Chevrolet Impala/Caprice, Buick Lesabre, Pontiac Parisienne, Cadillac Sedan Deville, and Oldsmobile Ninety Eight/Delta 88, then redesigned in 1991 as an "H" body, then last redesigned for 1997 as the current "G" body. This vehicle shares it's "G" body platform with the Buick Lesabre, Pontiac Bonneville, Cadillac Deville/Seville, and the now defunct Oldsmobile Aurora. The discontinued Cadillac Eldorado (1992 through 2002) was produced on the "E" body platform that underpinned the 1992 through 1997 Seville, which did not share it's platform with the Park Ave.
