7 yrs. old and still better than a lot of new vans. by notthemama from Fargo on 12/03/2009. Trim: 2003 Pontiac Montana 1SV Extended, Owned 3 years.
Pros: My 2003 Monty is one of the most comfortable, reliable vehicles I have ever owned. It has everything on it including "auto-start" which comes in awful handy living in N.D. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone.
Cons: There are no dislikes here.
Overall review: 10 out of 10

THE BEST MINIVAN IS THE MONTANA THUNDER!!! by Roger Morcilla from Winnipeg, Manitoba, on 10/02/2006. Trim: 2003 Pontiac Montana 1SY Extended AWD, Owned 3 years.
Pros: What I like about the Thunder is the styling, comfort, performance, handling, interior (Heated leather seats). The DVD system is great on long trips with the children. Climate control for the rear seat area is great, for winter & summer.Good on Fuel.
Overall review: I have owned my Montana Thunder for over 3 years now. It;s a sporty looking Minivan, very nice to drive. The AWD is great on snow & ice. When I was looking to buy a minivan I test drove a Caravan, Honda,Toyota, Mazda,Ford and one I liked most is the Montana Thunder!

Quality has gone south by RileyBailey on 09/24/2005. Trim: 2003 Pontiac Montana 1SX Extended AWD, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Nice styling for a mini van. Plenty of room with the 8 passenger seating, rear air conditioning a plus, handles well, enough power, AWD handles very well in snow and ice. Air compressor has come in handy for flat tires.
Cons: The cockpit area has been cheapened from the 2000 model. No map pockets on the back of front seats, no more drawer under the passenger seat,or under the center instrument panel. 6-way power driver seat instead of 8-way. Less back and leg support. Continually bringing it back for the same parts failing.
Overall review: My 2000 Montana was much better quality. The service from the dealer is a joke. They can't even do a L.O.F. without screwing something up. Pontiac customer service is completely useless. I'll probably never buy another GM product between the poor dealer service, non-existent Pontiac customer service and poor quality of the vehicle.

Sporty styling, family friendly by GoPats!!! on 02/07/2004. Trim: 2003 Pontiac Montana 1SV Extended, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Montanavision model with leather 7 pass. interior. Great for two infants and long trips. Comfortable to drive with great acceleration and handling. Vehicle loaded with GM trademark creaturefeatures.
Cons: (No data provided)
Overall review: I swore I'd never buy a minivan. Then my wife got pregnant. And a year later got pregnant once again. If you’ve got young kids, the 7 passenger seating option is ideal with the Montanavision styling. Out of all the minivans I looked at, the Pontiac was by far the best looking.
