You always wanted one!

Trim: 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, Owned 8 years.

Pros:
Handling is as good as most race cars. Brakes are very good , with little fade. Steering is easy , not like the point and shoot of a C-3. The real story is the LS1 engine. With 350 ft pounds of torque and 350 horsepower, it is easy to think that you have the best of both worlds. A 49/51 weight balance, with a good deal of interior room, and a true sense of driving a world class sports car. This C-5 is the best Corvette that I have ever owned.
Cons:
Wind and road noise is higher than it should be. The stereo system is more than enough to solve this little problem. In my case, I really enjoy the windows down, and listen to the exhaust as I go through all six gears.
Overall review:
I rate this car overall as the best buy for the money, of any sports car. Great looks, with performance to go head to head with any other make of sports car. It makes you wish that you owned one sooner than later. To compare this car with any other car that I have ever owned, would be unfair. But to think of what I have missed over the years is truly unforgivable. I hear alot of my friends say things like, "I used some cylinder heads off of a Corvette" or " It has brakes just like a Corvette", or " It corners like a Vette", when refering to there cars that they have modified for performance. Which is all good and well, but why not just get the real deal? I have spent alot of money over the years on muscle cars, hot rods, race cars, ect. All to chase the elusive four taillights that always seemed just out of reach. Now they chase me.
