COMFORT & CLASS
by LIVING THE DREAM on 03/24/2012.
Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Just bought 2003 Signature Model- (72,000 miles- $8,900)has all options Love the ride..Car,despite 9 year age is flawless,no rattles, minimum wind noise. Gets on freeway effortlessly. Paint has held up admirably! Really "takes a shine" with just a liittle "spray on,wipe off" wax. Also vinal top looks great (half roof) I used one coat of cleaner on it. Have had universal complements-except from my mid -30's friends,(i'm 55)-They just don't "get it", think it looks like Grampa's car.Everyone my age, older and the teenage friends of my two (18& 15) daughters think I'm a rich guy now... Love the heated seats, 3 memory settings, adjustable pedals-one can really "taylor" driving position perfectly.
Cons:
Stereo,(Premo model Alpine) could be flat out LOUDER-I'm an old "Classic Rocker", & I STILL LIKE IT CRANKED...
Sound quality is flawless, though. The rear drivers side window quit-thankfully in "up " position. Trunk while cavernous,is too deep.
These are "minor beefs" .
Overall review:
Love the prestige.YOU "ARRIVE' IN THIS RIDE! Gas milage (about 22mpg in mixed city/highway) is fine.Love all the buttons,&features...You find new ones all the time...Does one need rain sensing wipers"back up sensors,11 buttons/lites on their roof,a 6 cd changer, and a single inside, auto dimming & heated mirrors etc.. NO-but they are fun, fancy, and beat the humdrum existance of all other vechicles-and 9 years after manufacture, work just fine.
@ this point-I COULDN'T BE MUCH HAPPIER-THANKS LINCOLN!

Trim: 2003 Lincoln Town Car Cartier L, Owned 7 years.

Pros:
It is such an elegant automobile, only Mercedes Benz can hold a a candle in this price range, in style and pressence. You do not mess with a clasic style, that is why Ford is at the head of the pack! Sorry Cadillac !
Cons:
none
Overall review:
Very satisfied Lincoln owner!

Pros:
What do I like about this vehicle?...Everything
Cons:
Absolutley nothing
Overall review:
I have owned nothing but Town Cars since 1988. It is the most comfortable drive and ride. I'm hanging on to this baby (03) since they stopped making them. Wish Ford would start producing them again.

The Smooth Rider
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/31/2012.
Trim: 2003 Lincoln Town Car Signature, Owned 9 years.

Pros:
I especiallly like the comfort of the smooth ride. Spacous but not too roomy.
Cons:
At first I liked the power controls but as my car aged I started having problems with the power seat, the power windows, and the power control for the left and right exterior mirrors. I have had the motor replaced but after a year an;d a half it is now doing the same thing.
Overall review:
I might would buy another Lincoln but I would request and extented warranty of the things mentioned above.

Pros:
i like every thing about these vehicles .I have owned 10 town cars and all have went well over 300.000 miles and still no problems with them well engineered vehicle
Cons:
Some of the early years 98-2003 had the electrical box on top of the wheel well , salt and water dont mix well with electrical . Since 2003 they switched to behind the battery BIG improvement .
Overall review:
I would rate these as a 10 from a 1-10 scale. Would purchase many more if they would still produce them . They have been so reliable that no one has to buy a NEW ONE.
