A shaky decision
by coolguy from Portland, OR. on 12/16/2002.
Trim: 2002 Acura NSX 3.2 MT, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Great Leather Interior, good styling. Good quality also.
Cons:
Performance sucks!! When I pay $90K for a car, I don't want a 260hp piece of lead sitting in my garage! The car would GREAT if it had a +350hp engine, but it doesn't. Plus the body has been the same for 12 years except the fact that they melded the nose a little.
Overall review:
If you buy one, supercharge the engine or just plain out spend an extra $7k and rebuild the entire engine. Otherwise, pretty good car for the interior and body.

Pros:
I don't own one, but I have driven one, as well as the other cars that are mentioned in the reviews on this page. And I can say this, you cannot compare a Mustang or a Corvette or a Camaro to an NSX because they are in totally different classes. The NSX is an reasonably priced "exotic". Keyword : Exotic. It looks like one, it drives like one and it draws the attention like one. It is one. Other american muscle cars may have more hps, but they are "common", you see them every day! Exclusivity is all I have to say. Corvettes and Vipers remind of big dumb football players (no offense) with a lot muscles but no brains. I love Vipers, But I would choose the NSX.
Cons:
Yes, outdated design, but still beautiful, and yes, it does need more umph. But with the engine upgrade and new desing next year, all the "haters" that called this the excellent piece of machinery a bust will eat their words and will only be lost in the smoke.
Overall review:
Great overall car, looks great and begging for extra horsepower. Make this car as fast as it looks like and it will not have any competition and will never ever again be compared to common and less sophisticated cars.

Useful?
Pros:
I word- Junk, its just a $80k honda. It does handle pretty good.
Cons:
My boxster handles better than this. And its just a $80k honda. Glad I sold it and got a real car another porsche 996 C4S.
Overall review:
Not a big fan of the automatic, i thought this car looked so good when it first came out, but I was young and never experienced a real sports car.
