The best worst decision you'll ever make. by Pengadil, Shropshire, UK. on 04/26/2013. Trim: 2002 Hummer H1 Wagon, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Off road ability. Heritage. Substance. Rarity, Nothing like it. I think it has a certain charm to it despite it's "box on wheels" look. Not as loud as you think compared with a Land Rover Defender. No other vehicle has the same presence apart from the Tumbler. Residuals are increasing as they become rare. The wagon has impressive cargo space where as the Open top offers Al Fresco driving. Arnie loves them. Ideal for the school run on the Gaza Strip.
Cons: Extreme width takes a while to get used to. The cabin is dominated by the 6.5 TD engine whilst the passenger is wedged in each corner. Aluminium/Steel doesn't mix so it rusts. Can go through parts quickly due to 3.5t weight. Expensive to buy. Expensive to fill with diesel. Pre 2000 model has engine fault. Make sure 4th digit on the vin is an 'F' not a 'Z'. Only available in Left hand drive (I live in UK). The idiotic H2 and H3 have given the brand a negative image. Attracts attention and irritating questions from peasants and tree hugging blue queers from Avatar.
Overall review: It's too big, too wide, too expensive, too impractical, too thirsty. It makes absolutely no sense in buying one. But since when did all that matter?

The King of every thing by O.F. K. on 02/10/2009. Trim: 2002 Hummer H1 Wagon, Owned 7 years.
Pros: Is very safe so I feel fine when my Kids and wife go in it. we can go any where we want off road and not be at all concerned about anything braking or us getting stuck, we also can take up to 8 people in our model
Cons: All the seats apart from the boot seats are miles apart
Overall review: I think the Hummer H1 (2002 Wagon Adventure) has to be in at least the top 5 cars/4x4s and trucks on the face of the planet.

"Go anywhere" monster! by John on 01/23/2006. Trim: 2002 Hummer H1 Wagon, Owned 3 years.
Pros: 16 inches of ground clearance,72 deg. approach angle, 30 inches water fording...want me to continue? It weighs over 8100 lb so no need to be affraid of otehr cars and you get nice view of the road.
Cons: IT's width is almost 87 inches so dricing in city might be hard. Also you get some 9 mpg but that's to be expected so no complains.
Overall review: There is no need for such vehicle unless you live up in woods or you constantly need to tow or load this truck with big weights.
