Do your homework by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/23/2004. Trim: 2002 Nissan Quest SE, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Seemed like a nice vehicle for the price at the time. It came with video unit which no longer works and is comfortable for the kids.
Cons: Have many little problems. Rear speakers and video system have stopped working and of course is no longer under warranty. Window latches have broken, very fragile.
Overall review: I would not recammend buying this vehicle.

Worst Vehicle on the Planet by Anti-Nissan Activist, New England on 12/29/2005. Trim: 2002 Nissan Quest SE, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Seemed like a good car when we bought it. Cheap and the video player was a selling point. But once we had the car for even a few days... there were no pros.
Cons: Everything. For the most part, the only thing that still functions properly is the engine. Everything electronic in the vehicle has failed multiple times. When you turn the volume up on the steering wheel something different happens everytime, sometimes the video player starts playing, sometimes it changes the channel. We have had the VCR replaced twice, and we had to buy a new A/C unit aswell and the new one still has problems. The power seat makes up a new memory position everytime, and thats when it decides to work in the first place. And in the cold NE winters especially, electronics freeze, and the power windows are stationary. Wind noise is horrible, and the car is always rattleing.
Overall review: What ever you do don't buy a Nissan. Horrible warranty, and vehicle. I sold a honda Odessy and bought this car... what a mistake. Do your self a favor and buy a Toyota or a Honda, I got rid of the Quest and got a Land Cruiser, and I'm more impressed with it everyday.

A very nice van by Mark in Butler on 04/11/2005. Trim: 2002 Nissan Quest SE, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Comfortable on very long drives (1000 miles in a day) for this tall driver with bad knees. The interior is versitile, though not as much so as the newer vans. The video system wonderful. Very good local dealer.
Cons: It needs more power. The video system died after a year but was covered Under the warranty, no problems since. The anti-lock break sensor died but was also fixed under warranty (did not effect the function, just left the warning light on all the time). Road and Wind Noise are higher than expected.
Overall review: We have put only 25000 miles on our van in 2 1/2 year but that includes trips to Florida, Chicago and up state New York from our home in NJ. Comfortable, decent mileage, and plenty of room for lugage when set up for four passangers. The vehicle has been very reliable with only two issue, neither of which compromised the function of the vehicle. The van will cruise comfortable at 75 miles per hour all day long without problems. We have been very pleased with our van. We only wish it had about 25 more horses under the hood.

One of the best Minivans in U.S. by Farmer Girl from KY on 10/11/2004. Trim: 2002 Nissan Quest GXE, Owned 2 years.
Pros: This van is roomy and reliable; the back of the van is very accessible to rear-seat passengers and it rides like a car. The fuel mileage is decent for the size of the vehicle and engine; the VHS player is a life-saver on long trips. The removable middle seat makes it a lot easier to haul things, if you need to do so. I also like the folding down seats with the cupholders on the back.
Cons: There is windnoise, and the sound system is a little bit inferior.
Overall review: Good, solid family vehicle with way better than average reliability.

Minivan? What minivan? by Oldbeforehistime from Glide, OR on 04/13/2004. Trim: 2002 Nissan Quest SE, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Most of my friends made fun of me considering I am male and my wife and I bought this minivan when I was 21. Then they rode in it. It has a lot of get-up-and-go and is very quiet inside. It is stylish, especially since it is the SE model with the running boards and the sunroof, which is nice during summer. Decent gas mileage for its size and lots of creature comforts. Our friends love the built-in TV and I'm sure our kids will someday. No significant problems with reliability yet, just one rattle behind the dash that Nissan took care of. ABS worked great in the snow and ice this year and I never worry about passing in this thing.
Cons: The seat in the middle row on the driver side does not move. Why not? The other one does. Gas mileage could be better, but what can you expect. No scheduled maintenance (That is paid for anyway). Only a 36,000 mile warranty, not that I have needed it yet.
Overall review: If you are looking for foreign quality without having to pay Toyota's inflated prices this is your van. It honestly drives like a Maxima and looks great in the driveway. All the little details that Nissan included like adjustable shelves in the back make this car. We have not experienced a major problem yet and we plan to keep it for a long time. We love this car!
