Dodge 1500...SWEET!

Pros:
Slick style, raw power, smooth road ride, and great road presence. This truck commands respect. Will smoke most other cars / SUV / Trucks off the line, performes great offroad, and is super in snow / bad weather. Roomy for family haul but still very cool (instead of an family boring van)! Inside contols well thought out & placed w/ lots of little attentions to details. Very confortable seating and the BEST Heater / AC / defrost system i have ever seem. Infinity sound system is icing on the cake.
Cons:
V8 can be a gas hog in city diving...only down side

Best vehicale i have EVER owned..........worth every penny!

Pros:
My truck is still awesome to this day. bought it new and she runs just as good now at 142,000 miles as she did at 142 miles.
Cons:
Ok, so maybe there is one thing. for some reason the heat went out. No explanation and can't fix it. Actually not completely out but it doesnt get very warm.
Overall review:
I seriously would not give this truck up. It will be with me until it just outright dies!

Cons:
Ive done regular maintance on this truck since ive owned it and it is nothing but trouble. I bought it at 63000 miles and now at 80000 miles replaced the power steering pump, radiater, thermstat (leaking) , and the tranny has left me stranded along the road twice. Have lots of trouble with certain dealers covering warranty. Had to sign up with aaa cause i cant afford all the hauls it needs.

This will be my last dodge.

Pros:
It's a great looking truck. The chrome 20's with the black sport package gives it a powerful, intimidating look. Good storage in the cab. Handling is pretty good. 4wd system does work pretty well.
Cons:
Not enough space to tell you all the problems I have had. After 8 years I just can't take it anymore. Problems: unexplained overheating, air conditioning compressor, two steering racks, brakes, calipers, exhaust manifolds, power seat, seat cushions faulty, mirrors break, bad speakers, electrical problems everywhere, door hinges, front wheel hubs, oxygen sensors, and a lot of rust for it's age. It dents by just looking at it. The 4.7 struggles to keep this rig rolling, and the transmission is getting very tired at 87,000 miles. It goes into default mode when hauling, so it won't shift gears. BAD MPG! Dealer service is terrible. I dropped $32k for this truck and it is horrible.
Overall review:
Any good reviews of this truck must be written by Dodge salesmen hoping they can sucker another buyer into taking one of these home. DO NOT BUY THIS TRUCK! It is terribly unreliable and it will cost you a bundle to fix it. I think there is a parking spot at my Dodge dealer that is now reserved with my name on it because my truck is there so much. I have gone way over and above with maintaining this truck, and it has not paid off at all. Chrysler Corp should be ashamed of themselves. Oh wait, they are basically out of business. Gee, I wonder why???

PERFORMANCE, STYLING AND COMFORT INSIDE WITH PLENTY OF ROOM (MUCH BETTER THEN FORD, TOYOTA OR CHEVY)
