This sucks
by I hate Blazers from Jackson Hole on 01/01/2003.
Trim: 2002 Chevrolet Blazer 4-Door 4WD LS, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
I dont like this car!!!! It looks OK, but not next to a TrailBlazer or Suburban. It doesnt do well in the snow, it is EXTREMELY slow for such a large engine, it is uncomfortable, and it has serious reliability issues.
Cons:
See Above...
Overall review:
I would not recommend this car to anyone!!! Buy an Explorer or TrailBlazer instead!

Pros:
Nice acceleration, good handling, nice sound system, interior very comfortable, gauges easy to read. Looks great on the road. terrific mileage on long road trips.
Cons:
Service...Service.....Service. Had it in several times (transmission, rear stabilizer bar, interior light switch, an odd rattle that only I could re-create etc..etc...) mostly small items that were covered by warranty, but the ATTITUDES. Like I did something TO the vehicle to cause these distresses.
Overall review:
Buy it, BUT find a good mechanic you trust to work on it, if necessary.

Pros:
It is a Chevrolet.
Cons:
It is incredible that GM STILL hasn't fixed the problem of rain on the windshield being pushed to the outside of the windshield and then coming into the side window if it is cracked open. You HAVE to drive with all windows completely closed. I HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall review:
I owned a 1985 Chevrolet Blazer for 16 years and LOVED it. NEVER had a problem with it. I hope this Blazer will be the same.

my new pewter blazer

Pros:
love the push-button 4 wheel drive. very smooth ride. grips great in the snow. not as big a gas guzzler than the cherokee. responds very well to turning and breaking. love the cruise control. trust me too - get the on-off road optional tires.
Cons:
transfer case on the floor in front of the passenger seat. doesn't accelerate very well going up hills. tinting on back window makes it a little difficult to see backing up on a dark street or driveway.
Overall review:
i love this vehicle. the ease of getting into 4 wheel drive, the amount of leg room. very comfortable for anyone under 6'5". it rides very smooth. i won't buy foreign again and i will never go another new york winter without an suv. i am very certain i will own a chevy for the rest of my life.

Fun singles SUV.
by A CarPoint Consumer on 06/11/2002.
Trim: 2002 Chevrolet Blazer 2-Door 2WD LS, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
The handing isn excellent. It is a great vehical for someone who carries only a few people at once. Small enough to fit into parking spaces and make u-turns, but big enough to help a friend move or for a group to go out.
Cons:
The back seat is a bit small, and is not always easy to get in and out of, if you are over 5'7".
Overall review:
I love my blazer, and would buy another one in the future.
