GREAT SUV
by Kenn from Baltimore MD on 08/27/2002.
Trim: 2002 GMC Yukon Denali XL, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
For the largest SUV out there it moves like a sports car... Very fast and easy to maneuver. I have had mine about a year with 0 defects.. Great ride...
Cons:
I wish you could get a DVD and TV unit with it...
Overall review:
This is the best truck I have ever driven... We use to have a 2000 Lincoln Navigator... What a piece of Junk.. Drove like a tank..

What A Pleasure To Drive
by Zibbedy/Santa Maria, CA on 01/30/2002.
Trim: 2002 GMC Yukon Denali Base, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Sport performance and handling in a luxury SUV. Great balance of style, comfort and acceleration. Corners like a luxury sedan and the all-wheel drive tested superior on icy roadways, no hint of slippage under very slippery conditions.
Cons:
Running boards are weak, storage compartments inside are too small and front bucket safety belts hang irritatingly against the seat backs, hindering entrance. Transmission lags shifting from first to second at medium acceleration. Seat mounting brackets on floor have numerous nuckle-scraping sharp edges.
Overall review:
After buying three Ford trucks in a row, I have returned to the GM fold because of the Denali. What a pleasure to drive.

Denali forever
by Steve from Lewisburg, WV on 02/15/2013.
Trim: 2002 GMC Yukon Denali XL, Owned more than 10 years.
Useful?
Pros:
I have 167,000 miles on mine. On third set of brakes, third set of tires and third battery last week. Always starts , great ride(like new) and better than wife's Escalade. hauls golf clubs and golfers. Less that 2500 in repairs and the largest of those was for new front suspension and wheel bearings. Decent gas mileage.
Cons:
Brakes are a little weak.
Overall review:
Great vehicle---will drive until it dies!! (or until I do). First I have ever had this long--no desire to trade.
