Pros:
Fabulous color - Competition Yellow. Comfort ride, easy handling. Also, even after 6 years, still a head turner. In today's car world of grey/silver, this car is a visual knock-out.
Cons:
NOTHING! Love every inch of it.
Overall review:
Best car I've ever owned. Anyone who thinks there are no decent domestic cars has never owned a Monte.

Pros:
I bought this car used from a dealership I worked at in 2005 and I would not trade in my monte carlo for anything else! great handling, sporty styling, not to mention just enough power under the hood to put a smile on your face all at a decent price!
Cons:
The monet carlo has some issues that chevrolet has tried succesfully to resolve: The steering colum has bearing issues(same as the impala) that can be repaired under warranty,the intake manirfold will need possible gasket replacement(also covered under warranty), warping of the front brake rotors from excesive hard braking(and some times under regular braking) that is not under warranty. other than that its a great car!
Overall review:
The Monet Carlo is a nice sporty affordable vehicle. If you treat it well(regular oil changes, rotating the tires, keeping it clean etc etc) it will last you a life time! my monte is at almost at 90,000 miles and is still going strong and i hope to still own it at 190,000!

We had very little problems, and warranty helped on that, easy to keep clean, great mileage 32 miles a gallon on average 29.
