A bigger mistake than marriage by Hoghaulers, Florida on 09/10/2005. Trim: 2002 Toyota Camry Solara SLE Convertible, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: That it's a convertible
Cons: The shakey front end, the many rattles, the poor fit and finish and the sub standard parts used in assembly of this vehicle.
Overall review: I have owned many vehicles from new up to 30 years old and the Solara is by far the worst one.

What a MISTAKE by An MSN Autos Consumer on 02/05/2004. Trim: 2002 Toyota Camry Solara SLE, Owned 2 years.
Pros: The only con is I didn't need bakes until 65,000 miles.
Cons: I am very disapointed in the Toyota Solara. I have had several mechanical problems starting at 45,000 miles. Since hitting the 45,000 miles I think my Solara has been in the repair shop more that I seem to drive it. The Toyota service department was a joke. No one ever had a reason why my catalatic converter went out they just laughed. I am very disappointed in this car and the Toyota line in general
Overall review: I will never buy another Toyota car again

an overall alright car by saleminegra on 03/09/2007. Trim: 2002 Toyota Camry Solara SLE, Owned 2 years.
Pros: acceleration with the v6, comfortable, quiet, pretty much trouble free
Cons: handling- not sporty
Overall review: good car for long trips, reliable, comfortable but not meant for opening it up on windy roads, new shocks, springs, wheels, tires can make it sporty if you want to spend the money.

Toyota quality feels like a big car by Michael from Los Angeles on 12/06/2005. Trim: 2002 Toyota Camry Solara SE, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Great interior with a roomy rear seat. Very reliable and smooth on the road. Good looking car despite its large size.
Cons: Handles like a much larger car. Very soft through corners.
Overall review: The car is good-looking, smooth and reliable, but the suspension is pretty soft. Decent acceleration with the manual transmission but not too fun to drive since it doesn't corner very well--feels like you're driving a much larger car. Also has a huge turning radius. The interior is roomy and well laid out.
