Big value, big fun!
by Wayne from San Francisco, CA on 10/04/2007.
Trim: 2002 Jeep Wrangler X, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
I mean, it's a Jeep - what more can you say? Already that's a pro. Very reliable, great value, cheap after market accessories, comfortable seats, rugged fabric, descent fuel economy for a V6, great 4wd, and nothing beats throwing the top down and taking off the doors and driving along the California coast highway-
a great car for the city - small, rugged, and intimidating! haha
Cons:
Get's a bit bumpy and noisy on the highway / long trips - have driving it to Oregon and LA twice - no problems - just loud! But once again - you know that going into it.
Overall review:
Great car - my dream car actually - being a recent college grad and starting out in the 9-5 world, it is the best release from the corporate environment - enough storage space to haul furniture with the back seat out - no complaints here!

LOVE MY JEEP
by Jeeper on 04/19/2004.
Trim: 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport, Owned 2 years.

Pros:
I love my Jeep!
Cons:
I have had problems with sensors, in the gas tank as well as two other ones. The sensors should be replaced at one time, to avoid being stranded and multiple trips to the dealer. However Chrysler dictates repair policies. If you need alot of room you will need to purchase additional storage racks.
Overall review:
LOVE MY JEEP!

the king of terrain
by burnout930 from long island ny on 02/13/2004.
Trim: 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport, Owned 2 years.

Pros:
have a 2002 jeep wrangler sport and it is the king of the fuckin road and especially off road. when driving through the woods, on a beach or even in a urban jungle i never experience problems. when hoping medians and curbs, climbing boulders and logs, fording rivers or climing sand dunes, i feel as if im driving on dry pavement. I feel it has the best traction of any suv that isnt a hummer h1. I even had to tow a 4x4 trailblazer out of sand and a ford bronco out of snow. I think that for the money, u get one amazing off road machine.
Cons:
it doesnt have enough room for my family and small trunk space.
Overall review:
one word.....Amazing

It's Good to be the King
by That guy with the Jeep from Long Island, NY on 05/22/2003.
Trim: 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, Owned 2 years.

Pros:
Style, Versatility, Easy DIY maintenence, Paved roads are merely a suggestion
Cons:
Thirsty, More style than function, May quickly outgrow it, If you crash it, don't get hit on the side.
Overall review:
I knew going in that this was not the most practical of choices, but I've wanted one my whole life. I paid more than I should have, a Grand Cherokee Laredo was less $, and came with more features. I couldn't be happier with my choice. It's loads of fun in the summer, and it beat this lousy NY winter into submission. The soft top is easy to operate, but it would help to have garage space for the hard top. The gas milage is horrible. Chrysler estimates 16/19, I average 13/15. I've had 2 recalls that were prompltly taken care of, no problem. It is comfotable on long trips, it's roomier than it looks. Very loud on the highway, but its a 2-ton box. Stowing anything bigger than 2 suitcases requires removing the back seat (which takes 2 minutes). Minor gripes aside, this truck will feel like a part of you. I probably wouldn't buy another one, but I'll never get rid of this one.
