SAD Chevy by Dean in Orlando on 03/04/2008. Trim: 2002 Chevrolet Malibu Sedan, Owned 6 years.
Pros: I like the style of the car
Cons: In this model, the blinkers will work when they want, the horn works when it wants and the A/C works when it wants.
Overall review: If I didn't have the problems above it would be ok, but Chevy doesn't want to recall for these Items and checking the net these same problems have been posted by other owners

Great Reliability by carman on 02/27/2008. Trim: 2002 Chevrolet Malibu Sedan, Owned 6 years.
Pros: My wife and I bought the Malibu new in 2002. We have continued to drive this car and have over 85000 miles on it, of which are city miles. We have not had any significant mechanical repairs made to the car other than routine maintenance. The reliability of the Malibu has been its strongest attribute.
Cons: The styling of the car could be better.
Overall review: Overall, the Malibu has been one of the best vehicles we have owned. Our previous vehicle was very unreliable; but as stated earlier, the reliability of the Malibu is one of its strongest qualities. We have had peace of mind with this car and would recommend it to anyone. We fully intend on buying a new car in 2008 and the Malibu will be top on our list.

Nice but Risky Car by Monica from Michigan on 11/04/2007. Trim: 2002 Chevrolet Malibu LS, Owned 3 years.
Pros: I love the comfort and styling of it!
Cons: I have had many problems that all relate to the electrical system. There seems to be no solution in sight to the ignition, radio, window, and light problems.
Overall review: I would absolutely love this car if I didn't have the electrical system problems.

So Far So Good... by Lisa, St. Clair Shores, Michigan on 01/02/2004. Trim: 2002 Chevrolet Malibu Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The price was right for this car, and the stock radio/tape/cd player is very cool. The radio's "info" feature that came stock was a nice surprise. This is my first sedan and it seems very roomy, and almost luxury becasue the seats are very comfortable. The car rides very smooth, handles great and I have had no problems yet with this car what so ever. ( it was purchased used after one owner with just 14,000 miles) Infact, the first thing i noticed when i got the car was how great the breaks are. This particular Malibu at least, stops on a dime! Also, the warrenty is nice. Great car for the money.
Cons: For starters, its not payed off yet . Besides that, there are just a few little things that will merely take some getting used to like fronts seats that do not fold forward, the ignition being in the dash instead of the steering column and only one large, bright dome light to illuminate the interior instead of the two small lights in front that could be dimmed that my previous car had. Besides little things, this car is fine.
Overall review: This car is perfect for anybody who wants a reliable, comfortable, roomy, car with power and a few bells and whistles. The car has style but is not flashy. Not quite "grandma" but not a mid-life-crisis sporty car either.
