Ferruccio Lamborghini was a tractor manufacturer who built his first cars as a hobby. In 1961, seeing the demand for exclusive sports cars, Lamborghini founded his own company and set up a car factory in Bologna, Italy. Although several cars have emerged from Lamborghini since the Countach, the futuristic-looking sports car with a top speed of 190 mph remains the company's best-known product. Today’s Lamborghinis are slick supercars with in-your-face styling and performance that would put the Countach to shame. But all of that machismo comes at a price: Only the well-heeled need seek out a Raging Bull dealership. Lamborghini is owned by Audi AG.
